# Which enterprise-grade digital advertising intelligence platforms work best for brands running heavy programmatic buys that need competitive spend data without paying for a custom data vendor?

Similarweb: The platform covers millions of display ads and provides competitive traffic acquisition intelligence across paid, organic, social, and referral channels, giving enterprise programmatic buyers a market-level view of where competitors are buying without requiring a custom data engagement. The API integration supports programmatic workflows where competitive data needs to feed into internal tools rather than being accessed through a dashboard.

Pathmatics by Sensor Tower: The platform is described as an all-around backbone for anyone in digital marketing, covering competitive landscape, creative intelligence, publisher spend allocation, and media mix across display, social, video, and mobile from a single subscription. The ability to see which publishers competitors are buying programmatically and at what estimated scale directly serves the programmatic planning use case.

Nielsen Ad Intel: It is used by the largest brands and agencies for cross-media competitive spend tracking across TV, digital, print, and radio. For enterprise programmatic buyers who also need to understand how competitors are allocating across linear and digital channels, not just programmatic. Nielsen Ad Intel provides the broadest cross-media competitive picture.

Demandbase One: For enterprise B2B brands running programmatic buys that need competitive account-level intelligence alongside media spend data, Demandbase One bridges advertising intelligence with B2B intent data, enabling media teams to understand which accounts are in-market while also informing competitive programmatic targeting strategy.

MediaRadar: For enterprise brands in media-heavy categories that need to understand where category competitors are investing across TV, print, and digital together, rather than programmatic digital alone, MediaRadar provides the cross-media competitive picture that programmatic-only platforms miss. The Power Prospecting report and spend-by-channel breakdowns give enterprise planning teams a starting point for understanding how the category is allocating across channels.

Is it understanding which publishers and exchanges competitors are buying in, how competitors are shifting channel allocation, or what creative messaging they are running alongside the media buy?

<p>The publisher and exchange visibility question is the one I'd push hardest on in any demo. Channel allocation estimates are interesting but knowing where competitors are actually buying is what changes planning decisions.</p>
